National Drowning Prevention Alliance
The mission of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) is to prevent drowning and aquatic injuries, by educating, leading, engaging, and supporting the public, our members, chapters, and partners. The NDPA acts an educational resource for the United States and beyond, the NDPA strives to place emphasis on research, awareness, and policy changes to impact the incidence of toddler drownings in swimming pools. The result has been an unprecedented growth and presence in national and local drowning prevention efforts.
K38 supports the efforts of all the members of the NDPA and their leadership skills working with every avenue of outreach to prevent drowning, to make that a goal, not a phrase, but to get into the hard issues, the painful ones and create a legacy of love for all involved. This is how we change the world.
